Tomorrow PARK(ing) Day will raise awareness for the need for open space in urban areas, and for dialogue about how public space is allocated.

The City of Cambridge and sponsoring organizations will be turning parking spaces to park places for the day. Residents, artists, and activists are welcome to come to these “PARK(ing)” spaces and see the 97 different organizations’ and City Department’s temporary parks.

Charles River TMA and EZRide Shuttle are sponsoring the biggest little parklet, three spaces outside Abigails Restaurant 291 Third Street between Binney and Broadway.

Stop by tomorrow and let's talk about bus-bike safety from 8AM-6pm

Curate Snacks and Hint Water will provide the refreshments

Here at CRTMA and at our member businesses, we bike.  And we run a transit service.  We walk. And yes, we drive.  We think Parking Day is a great way to talk about complete streets, and safe use by all users.
